Are you sure, Zeev?....you have a lot of folks who were long-time holders of stock....in names like Csco, Msft, Dell, Emc, Qcom.....many of whom were holding for years, and had no intention of selling....until Nov/Dec rolled around...and they had some super-fat gains...

Obviously, you've got folks who bought in 2000 who are underwater, but I think a decent number of those folks hung onto their stock...and did not sell in Nov/Dec..looking for a comeback...but my theory is that the super-fat, long-term gains realized are going to outside near-term losses..

We'll see...thanks for your thought....and the turnips were mightly close (calender-wise)...hope you had a very profitable day...
