Only the obvious two.

First of all, XML and Java are not orthogonal. People who design distributed applications often use both and will continue to do so. You imply, and intend to imply, the opposite.

Second, you should supply the full context of your citation, which was "This will be a much bigger deal than Java, SAID BALLMER". The fact that Ballmer said it makes it meaningless spin rather than the weighty prediction of fact that you imply.
