Patricia, while I rode home on the bus, I thought of what you said even though I hadn't read your message. Yes, the South Korean President lost face among his people and perhaps among North Korea's leaders. This is a serious matter.
If there is a military takeover in North Korea, there could be war, because from what we have learned N. Korea fights for its survival, and it could attack Japan and South Korea very easily. Then all Zinga would break loose.
We are a global economy. We cannot afford to humiliate our allies. And Bush and company humiliated the South Korean President. We not only need their good will but our companies want to expand into these areas. Should the North and South re-unite, it could provide a wonderful opportunity for American companies.
I understand the hard-liners take over the White House, and this will create a dangerous political situation. Also, US companies may lose contracts abroad as anti-Americanism increases, as it will every where. I hear Tony Blair is in trouble in England because he supported the attack in Iran. He's up for re-election as PM. As far as I know, he'll be re-elected, but he's in trouble with Parliament and other allies. The folks in Great Britain may be angry as well.
Thanks for the articles!
Actually, I learn because I publish them. If they are useful to others, I am very happy.
It's nice to have someone to chat with!
Thanks,
