GV, I show the dow fell 55+% and the s&p 48+% (1/5/73-10/4/74 period). Those were the markets in 1974 whereas the Nazduck was the market when this bear started. It has fell 60+% and wiped out more wealth(relative) than the 74 and it ain't over yet. So my opinion is that this has and will continue to do more damage than the 74 and without a doubt worse than 87. 87 was over quickly. In '46 we had one similiar to the 87 and like 87 it did not last long. This one has tested some metal and found much to be of inferior quality. BTW, 68 was not a good year either. Monty
