"My question is, should i have these two directories, and the second is, is there a way to reverse this without having to reformatt the HD? I do not wish to have a dual boot, just win2k... "

first question.... maybe. i don't (i'm dual-booting w2k and w98se) have the two directories together because i have the operating systems on separate partitions.

second question....

Removing NT/2000 from a Dual Boot Setup

[edit: wait, i don't think this is what you asked for. this removes w2k and leaves w98. you want the other way around. back to the drawing board.]

please let us know how it works
