LP - we agree..

Though you articulated it MUCH better..

I was always a Tyson fan.. WAS

In recent years, especially after his prison stint,
he just got to wacky for me.. As a person, a boxer, and
a PROFESSIONAL athlete.. Every fight post-prison has been
a circus.. I remember looking forward to Tyson fights..
Lookin forward to the visciousness, the beast in him,
the knock-out power.. But now, in my opinion, whatever greatness may still reside within him, is overshadowed by
the type of person he is.. Or has become.. Or WE have made him..

But I'll always remember him as a boxer from my generation who was great, up there in the ranks with the best the world has ever had to offer. In my opinion, easily in the top 3 or 5 of alltime..

But an azz is an azz is an azz..
