Well, let's keep this going, your response was eloquent and quite good. I disagree on some points but that is what debate is about. I guess my strongest perception is that GWB's agenda is tax cut and defense buildup and he can't think deep enough about the real issues. The foremost issue is how do you INSURE the world economy is growing led by the USA. He, in my mind has missed the mark greatly here. As for talking things up, perception is reality, and the perception being pushed forward is that of dire straits. Only a tax cut will save us. This of course is horse hockey and worse a lit fuse with dynamite attached. So talking it up is extremely important and crucial especially now. BTW, word has it that Greenspan and Bush have agreed to disagree
