I feel bad about people dying in car accidents, too. That doesn't mean that the cutting of brake lines is something that I merely feel bad about. Murder is wrong.

To address your other point, abortion as a means of contraception (or more properly stated, "birth control") is grossly irresponsible and immoral. I have no problems with the use of contraceptives. I have a problem with the use of abortion as birth control.

I do not believe that a fertilized egg, on its own, is life. I think that once the egg attaches and begins to grow, then life truly is viable. In that sense, I do not see it as a typical abortion to use RU 486. It is contraception. Yet, I am sure that some on this thread are cringing at this thought.
