Allow? Excuse me, but when you deal with the sharks you don't get a say in the terms of the deal. Let's get real here. This is a company that has been bleeding buckets of red ink for more than a year and was going down for the third time. Under these circumstances you either file Chapter 11 or you do one of these mortgage-your-soul-and-hope-for-the-best financing deals from your friendly offshore loan shark company. Nobody should be under any illusions that this was a "negotiated" deal between equal parties. These deals are always arranged so that the "lender" is guaranteed his profit no matter what happens to the "borrower". You can be sure that the only risk takers are the shareholders here.
