Hey Diane! I've glanced through 167 MinSub posts, realized I knew no one there anymore, and unbookmarked it, experiencing a great feeling of relief as I did so--that was one baffling and sick encounter in my cyberlife and I return happily to the oh-so-emotionally healthy and ever-so-intellectual life at XXXXX and Feelings! However, I did read your post and am so sorry about your cat. (Janice--cat talk to follow-you can skip-although your attachment to the Bete Noire has been noticed and will be used against you if necessary) I fear by the time you read this, the worst will have happened, kidney failure not being too successfully overcome by kitties. We lost our first cat, Agnus, to that-it was awful to see him suffer. Anyway, let us know what's happening. Blue Kitty was so happy to see us last night when we got home that he immediately went out and captured a live bird. He stood in the living room, meowing in muffled tones so as not to drop it, until we all came to see his little love offering. Then he placed it gently on the rug, where it tried to fly away and he jumped on it and broke its wing. I'm really tired of emptying shoe boxes for dying birds. It's screwing up my shoe filing system. (Freddy, Thomas-no comments about Imelda. I cleaned out this spring and I'm down to 53 pairs.) Ahh-I ramble--but am sure everyone understands that a week offline is a most traumatic and stressful occurrance and will be tolerant toward this torrent of repressed and pent-up verbiage-at least for a brief period. |
