I can't accept that. I have made many spending decisions in my life and I am in business and have made many sales in my life. I have never heard anyone who said I am not going to buy because the President says the economy is bad. In fact when the economy gets bad they usually know before the Prez or the politicians. The average person will spend money if they are making it. They stop buying when their income is reduced or they are maxed out on debt.
