David,

(I always appreciate first names to refer to)

Your Brinker credentials are impeccable. Similar to you, I have been a Moneytalk listener for more years than I can remember and a MT subscriber since 1994. Over the years, I've listened intently to Bob's shows even learning to read between the lines a bit. I've been an SI member since it's inception and a frequent follower of Bob's site when it was in operation. I've seen the Suite101 site but found it frustrating to use so I rarely go there. I've listened to the Motley Fools when they've sub'ed for Bob in the past and they left me uninspired so I also don't go there.

SI won my respect when it first turned on because there were no handles. Full names only and it was run quite professionally. I attended the 5 year party and met some of the people who run the place. That helps to explain why I now only bother with this site.

I applaud your ability to follow all the posts on the various boards. That is something that I would not have the time or energy to do. But I have tried to follow the general conversation on these two sites over the years and on occasion get moved enough to take a stand.

I'm pretty familiar with all of the calls that Bob has made over the years. I have only participated in a few of them. Admittedly, I have caught mostly bad ones but I have myself to blame for missing the good calls like that time he called the semi-caps. Whew...he got a quadruple on some of those.

Anyway, there isn't much that you can tell me that I don't know about already. But I'm happy to hear any analysis that you can present. But it's really pretty subjective stuff and depends on how you want to spin it. If you want to view it in a negative light then it's not hard to spin it that way. You really have to view the entire context of what Brinker has done.
