I AM EXTREMELY THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE THAT I JUST RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM the_worm06 AND IT IS MY DISTINCT PLEASURE TO ANNOUNCE THAT MICHAEL J. ZWEBNER HAS WITHDRAWN HIS LAWSUIT AGAINST the_worm06!!!(again) NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

TVCP dropped the lawsuit against the_worm06 and then MJZ filed a personal lawsuit against him. Two separate suits and both have now been dropped.

The chairman of Talk Visual Corporation (TVCP), Michael J. Zwebner, has voluntarily dismissed a lawsuit against the poster the_worm06, nearly one year after bringing suit. The original lawsuit was filed in Utah, with Zwebner and TVCP as the original plaintiffs, in February 2000.
No settlement or other agreement was made between the parties. The lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice, which means the Plaintiff can bring the same claims in the future. However, I am not aware of a single dismissed internet defamation case which has ever been brought again by a plaintiff, other than on jurisdictional issues.
The defendant in the case also dismissed his pending appeal of the jurisdictional issue, in order to effect the plaintiff's dismissal.
Almost every single internet defamation case involving a public company or its management, well over 9 out of 10, ends in this manner. I am not aware of a single similar case which has gone to trial. A few have been
dismissed on summary judgment or other motion.
