Graham & Jan: Actually everybody is better at predicting the weather. Stock forecasting is an extremely difficult profession. The large mutual funds with highly paid and educated staff still cannot beat the indexes. I find the Gandalf news this morning interesting but frustrating. All the discussion on the Gandalf thread and it was all wrong. Much Ado About Nothing. It reminded me of all the crap I read on the Bre-X thread. I find the recent replies by The Beach and Hutch kind of disturbing. Does anybody know anything on the internet? Am I wasting my time on this thing? Is this just entertainment, some sort of interactive TV? Is anybody learning from the mistakes of others? Any thoughts? Dave
