Inventories are up across the board. . . further indicating a slowdown. This reminds me of a doctor I had last summer that began a procedure, then gave the order to give me an anesthetic. OUCH! By the time the drugs took effect, the procedure was over. The Fed is not running to rescue the economy. That is for certain. And just so you don't feel too bad.. . . I hear stories of people who had 10 million bucks invested a year ago. . . .now have just a few hundred thousand. Other stories of several million going down to NOTHING! And many many people with just 10 or 20 thousand left after being well into the hundreds of thousands.

So the "Wealth Effect" Greenspan spoke of, has turned upside down. Do you think he will talk about the "Poverty Effect"?

For those who realize that the banking families that own the Federal Reserve System, a private corporation, pull the strings on the U.S. Economy. . . .[they control our cash, every check you write is routed to the FED, as are your credit card transactions and brokerage account transactions. They don't just control interest rates!] Anyway. . . .The wealth effect was bad for the powers that be. . . .it is not natural for wealth to trickle down the classes. The way it is supposed to work is that the rich get richer off those who don't know any better. Any variation on that must be "corrected". So anytime we hear the words Wealth Effect used in the future, we will know what is in store for us.
