but sandra is just a system information and testing utility, no? it doesn't do repairs, but rather more of a diagnostic program.

As I understand it this is a correct assessment of sandra. He found his problems and is fixing them himself.

Just wondering if anyone had used it and if having sandra and norton system works would be overkill.
