They're all betting like Wayne that the FED must act. Yet if they act they guarantee that the downturn will be exacerbated. They have to do what I told them to do months ago, shut down and shut up and get the hell out of public visibility. This is the challenge for Greenspan. Before the '60s the Board Chairs would have said, "let them eat cake". This is what Greenspan must do. They have to stop the coupon passes because they're only throwing gasoline on the fire. It is immaterial what they do with interest rates, so it is immaterial what the drug addicts on the COMIX are guessing.
