I don't know if JDS wants to own the fiber. They already have specialty fiber through SDL's earlier acquisition, I believe IOC in the UK (correct me if I'm wrong). I hope they don't need to make another acquisition. I think with their dominant position in components, they already have a lot of leverage with fiber suppliers.

I'll try to get opinions at OFC.
