Dear barry the logical extension of you desire to combine expression of free speech with other crimes can lead directly to the assertion of the expression is the crime and thus I guess maybe Senatory Byrd should get 10 years for letting the N-word slip out. dumb, stupid, dumber, retarded.

If you feel the penalty for a crime is not correct then you should use you free speech to do what you feel is correct.

Whatever the consequence of an action to me the penalty should be based on the simple concept of intent. If a person meant to do, I don't really care why. Why can be used to show intent but matters not in applying a sanction.

So << Can you provide some examples of crimes and what you think is appropriate. >>

This means you state the crime and the penalty and then say what is wrong with the actual penalty.

In my post I used a crime and the actual sanction. Why is this so impossible for a vacant liberal mind????????????
