John Bergen, President of Radar Announces Coal Project Resource Estimate Review

Calgary – March 13, 2001 - Radar Acquisitions Corp. (RAC - CDNX) is pleased to report results of a preliminary resource estimate for its Buick Coal Project in Limon, Colorado. Management is very encouraged with the results of the study. With these additional contiguous leases the property’s resource potential appears to be more than 100 million short tons. Coal resource lands owned by RME Land Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corp., NYSE – APC, have been reserved to Radar by letter of intent. These coal resources are now being re-calculated to ensure compliance with National Instrument 43-101 and GSC bulletin 88-21.

A bulk density of 1.36 (gms/cc) that equates to 1850 short tons/acre-foot was used for the resource estimate. Given the ash level of the Buick deposit at around 12.5% and 35% moisture level, GSC Paper 88-21 suggests a density of 1.32% for lignite with an ash level of 20% on a dry basis.

Mr. Speed has 32 years of continuous experience in mining and geological environments and has spent 22 years exclusively in the exploration, development and production of coal and lignite in both plains and mountain coal deposits.
