You imply that the market clearing level for the US will be extraordinarily and shockingly low. Perhaps.
I doubt it.
The Economist has skewered the Japanese government for their total mismanagement of post bubble economics.
They may do the same here, but it seems unlikely. So far, the best steps that can be taken have been, and there is room for considerably more.
