TWY, <Has any follower of this thread actually bought a P4???>

I recommended a P4 to a friend who wants to build his own 3D graphics rendering workstation. Does that count?

Personally, I have a 600 MHz Coppermine, and I feel no need to upgrade until maybe Northwood. Besides, these days I prefer buying components that consume less power, emit less heat, and create less noise. Having a 55W processor (Pentium 4) or a 65W processor (Athlon) in my computer doesn't really appeal to me.
