In the mid-January 1st quarter report, the firm increased guidance to revenues of $790 million. This was the 8th increase for FY01. Also, Ariba's products help companies save money. Cisco's system had paid for itself in 5 months after installlation according to the Fortune article. Ariba is expanding overseas per the release on the Korean and Chinese translations. Ariba will be expanding into direct procurement and more directly competing with i2. That's all I can think of in 45 seconds.
