New scan method I am using the same scan. But it will now look at the index components for most of the indices I follow in my daily and weekend commentary. The list will have a folder on the right most column which indicates which index the stock is from based on. This scan attempts to find stocks which are extended (either up or down). I watch them for topping/bottom bars to form. If the value on the right is negative they are LONG candidates, if it is positive they are SHORT candidates. In general the scan finds stocks which are good for 2-3 day swing trade. No FA involved in the scan. Just short term technical setup. Multiple listings mean nothing. Stock was just located in more then one of the scan folders. Also, there will be an occasional stock turn up which is no longer valid (sellout, change name, etc).
