The victim was deprived of life

Sorry, your argument is not consistent. Not only are all criminals not deprived of what they took from their victims, but all crimes that result in death are not punished by, or even eligible to be punished by execution.

This morning in a town nearby, a driver with a history of DUI, under pursuit at high speed, plowed through an intersection and killed another driver.

He deprived that driver of life, is totally culpable. Should he be fried?
