Greg: I have been shorting CIEN recently, as it has a poor chart pattern and has moved btw low and high 50's with regularity. The timing of this "good news" release at about 3:30 pm today, coincided with a run up in the price from about 54ish to near the day high at 58, then it collapses. I have become very suspicious of the timing of brokerage pronouncements from tech conferences, since the IBM ramp job a week ago, remember that one? I'd bet ML trading desks had a field day with CIEN from about 3 to 4 pm going long and short. JMHO P.S: you did mention the CIEN chart the other day; what was it about this big hump like pattern that you took note of; I couldn't find your specific comments. Thanks, and best regards, James
