yes, I remember Heath Kits and I built one but I don't remember what it was. But I still have my tack dwell eico auto analyzer. Of course there has been a long gap in time since I have had points to dwell on. At 11 I started getting the American Basic Science Kits. But all kinds of electronic, weather, optics and chemistry stuff. I also built several rockets with the explosive power of a few sticks of dynamite. I always had a pocket knife. Hell I'd be a felon tens times over today. My first attempt at house wiring at 12 taught me well what a dead short will do to a wall switch.
