Stated that way, I agree on all counts. I of course knew who Finkel was, but thought that perhaps you were familiar with him in management roles with other fighters in the past.
As for your grading, I'd have to agree, with one small deviation: I wonder if, perhaps, Finkel doesn't - or hadn't - tried to get Tyson to (for lack of a better word) "behave," only to no avail.
Especially well-taken is your point about Tyson getting to title convention versus the tomato can posse; therein lies my largest personal peeve in the sport: the nonsensical, and probably nonexistent, ranking system. And it is with regard to those practices, on top of the occasionally suspicious judging practices, promoters' influences, and the like that cry out loudly for a Federal Boxing Commission.
Chaired, of course, by LPS5. Or maybe not ;-)
