Paul: Try this exercise on the COMP. Get the daily graph for the COMP over 1 year. Draw a lower line connecting the lows for July and Dec. Draw an upper line connecting the highs for Aug. and Jan. You get a beautiful(?) channel with parallel upper and lower boundaries with today's COMP right in the middle with a vertical channel width of 1000pts and negative slope of approx. 280pts./month. Given this trend and today's close, we should hit ZERO around the end of Oct. this year. <ggg>
