Srex RE:"Why do you feel the man has no input in an abortion decision? "

Oh, he can have an input, but the decision, I believe, is hers. I say this because it is her body and health at risk and because she will have primary if not total responsibility for raising the child. I think it's true that most abortions are of out of wedlock pregnancies where the man walks away and either denies fatherhood or agrees to child support but takes little parental responsibility. Now, you tell me why a man should have equal say.

"Are you a woman or a man? "

This question is beginning to amuse me.....apparantly you conservatives cannot fathom a man supporting womens rights. I come from the old school when women were considered the fairer, weaker sex and as such were sheltered and supported by men. I've always felt it was the man's responsibility to prevent unwanted pregnancies primarily to avoid bringing some unfortunate child into the world who would pay for his reckless action. The advice I give to young men is that if you want to mess around and take a risk at screwing up your life, you better do it with someone you wouldn't mind marrying. I get sickened when I hear GI's returning from overseas bragging about the children they left behind. The women knew what they were doing, it's the children who pay.
