bekya, you beat me to the punch. You have to note that 50% of Cisco is nothing but spin, ie they have no business trading more than 2.5 times their book value, which we all know is less than $4 a share.

The fundamentals for Cisco, even in a more favorable environment are bleak at best. On hyperbole it will bounce back but not on any fundamentals, which IMHO are only going to get worse for Cisco.

In the case of 3Com I am taken aback at how a company could trade at half its conservative book value and at a fraction of its' cash value, even after discounting this quarters loss in earnings and one time charges.

This is a lesson I have never witnessed. I can not see this lasting for too long but if it does it will be an anomaly and a first time for me. Its' like selling my wallet for $100 when I have $200 in cash inside my wallet.
