cer·tain·ty (sûrtn-t)
n., pl. cer·tain·ties.

1. The fact, quality, or state of being certain: the certainty of death.
2. Something that is clearly established or assured: “On the field of battle there are no certainties” (Tom Clancy).

I have no idea what your beliefs are, but you claim certainty several times now about many things. You seem thin skinned about it. Solon and I have argued many times and don't necessarily agree on some things. I thought his comments about certainty were funny. He knows how I feel from our discussions and you interpreted it as a personal attack. That seems to say a lot about you since I didn't mention you and closed the post with a link to an anomaly that I'd come across.

I've seen personal attacks - that was no personal attack. It is an epistemological difference of opinion. Even things of which I think I might be certain, are only expressed as odds by me. Are there things you don't doubt? I didn't see "pretty certain" or "kinda certain" but certain. Go back to the definition.

BTW, I didn't say were "a suspect" but "suspect". Different meaning, pally. Now doesn't that seem peevish when I say it that way?
