But going through the charts is does not look like we closed at an inflection point.

I know options expiration is Friday and we are quite below max pain (I believe index options expire tomorrow night).

It certainly would be possible to get to a point that could hold as an interim bottom tomorrow. We have seen the NAZ and INDU put in some very long sticks. But the problems I see are that SPX does not seem to have played out this leg down and almost all the market leaders are a mess.

Having said this we probably gap up and don't look back tomorrow. <gg>
