John S. The "Fleck" is still looking pretty good on this bear. The market is beginning to look more and more like the bear of 1973 and 1974 and that one was long and agonizing. Too many are looking for a bottom so I think we have more agony to suffer. We will be at a bottom when nobody wants to own stocks. Anyway, the chip stocks are beginning to act better then the rest of tech, but that's not saying much. The rest of the market looks like it now wants to get in sync with tech on the downside. Hope you haven't covered your JDSU short yet, it might get near zero. Take care. Phil
