roebear & your tesco TESOF cheering.

You mentioned the stock trading abnormal volume today up here in canada on the tse. I didn't run accumulation by house numbers but did glance thru the trades -- the "enthusiastic bozo" and "dummy" you mentioned was Sprott brokerage. Glancing thru trades there were quite a few crosses -- 150K, 75K, 100K, 100K, 67.3K, 75K and the one near the end of day for 205K. All were done at $17cdn. Total volume was just under 1.1mil.

Suspect it was probably a fund positioning at a set price.

Sprott analyst following the situation is Scott Lamacraft in Toronto and he did an update a couple of days ago. Target is indicated at cdn$18.60 or us$12.06 Estimate indicates lowered (by $0.02) eps of cdn$0.69 General spiel was that the recent announced sale of asset base to Weatherford was favourable. Lower growth asset base liquidated at a "very attractive" (for who?.....) price.
