Why does Piecyk always get ripped for his $1,000 target???
His target price was pre-split, so in effect his target was $250. Q traded at about $205 post 4-1 split, very early January 2000. This means that Piecyk's target allowed for about a further 20% appreciation over the next 12-18 months. This guy "championed" Q when few others did. I don't think his target was so unreal. How many other analysts had "out of sight" price targets during that same time period and they missed by a lot more than Piecyk. Is it just the fact that his target was 4 digits ?? I don't think too many people realize that his target was "pre-split". What the hell am I missing??
