Rebound, yes. New highs - don't count on it if you mean higher highs than a year ago. The spring 2000 highs were inflated due to the NAZ bubble.

Exactly! That was the point I was trying to make in the previous post. The peak was so high in March 2000, it may be a long time before we reach that number again. We could go to an "interim" high down the road in a few months, but fail to meet the high achieved in March 2000. Then from that peak we may go down again into another cycle where lows would be reached and then come back to another "peaking process" to see if the high in March 2000 could be reached or exceeded.

Sounds like the right time frame to me.
