The circle of mystery continues to shrink as science advances. Things that were until recently the acts of gods are routinely done across the world in hospitals, factories and laboratories. The fact that you and I communicate through this medium at all is a tribute to the science that is eschewed by some people of certain beliefs. There are aspects of this reality (physics) that are almost certain, yet even these embrace an uncertainty at their core. That people who reject science as a primary means to truth yet use this medium is a real irony that makes me smile.

There will always be a corner of the universe to stick a deity if you so choose. I have been known to do that myself from time to time. It is not, however, requisite and is therefore an introduced notion. There is no successful and universal prima facie case to be made for it, though there is room for it. For some people, that is not enough. They can't have their deity in a corner, they want it on top of everyone. I don't buy that and don't see how having "room for it" makes it certain for anyone.
