Mr Jepsen,

I have noticed that sometimes under insider buying it says Mr.X purchased shares and then in another spot shows Mr. X acquired shares.

I recently noticed someone had acquired shares in a company I have been doing DD on, so I contacted them and asked if the shares were purchased with their own money and they said yes. Is there a difference between acquired and purchased shares?
