Thanks for your comments. My friend had been wearing the eye shields. The flap lifted when he opened his eyes at night in bed.

My plan had been to go up for the procedure on a Thursday or Friday and stay at the hotel across the street, Sheraton I think, and stay put until the following Monday or Tuesday, then drive back. It was a bad idea.

I'll probably have one of the procedures done at some point.

BTW I followed your posts when I was lurking on AV's thread a couple years ago. Where do you think we're headed now and what do you think of doing buy-writes on cash rich bios: INCY, VICL?
