IMO, a real test of Bush's political values is around the corner; campaign finance reform. So far, he has indicated opposition to reform. I can only see one reason for the opposition; he serves the special interest groups and has contempt for the people.

Campaign finance reform is neither republican nor democratic, but whether we are government has its primary obligation to the people who can afford (mainly) legal bribery. Clearly the republicans need the wealthy money to stay elected. He who pays the fiddler calls the tune.

BTW--last trade of AMAT was 49.50 this morning.
