I already mentioned the general idea, I doubt that it hung on a specific example. The idea behind Providence is not fate, but more subtly the amelioration of evil and promotion of the good. Perhaps, if you want a specific incident, it was when the Pope dissuaded Attila from sacking Rome, thus showing the glory of God for the comfort of the afflicted.....
