I could see that when the SOX went into the red, the other indexes would get weaker, and they are. I just wonder what they do from here. Looks like an inside choppy day.
As to your question, I don't know the full answer. Acquired can mean many things, like in the exercise of options. I don't think it matters either way, a buy is better than a sell, on a dd basis for a long trade, whereas a sell would be better on a dd basis for entering a short position. Take a look at old rat ATMS, when the insiders unloaded, the price collapsed. Besides, no matter what they call it, many companies loan the officers the money to buy the shares anyway, so I guess one could say the person in question is "buying" the stock with his own money, right? |
