Come on Willcousa you got to be smarter than that. Under this kind of program the Republicans would get about 25 times the donations the Democrats get. Just look at the list of Donors that donated more than $100,000 to either party. The Republicans had over 200 donors to the Democrats 10.

No foreign interest may lobby congress

What have you got against lobbyists? You trying to increase the unemployment rate in DC? American firms lobby all over the word for their own interests. Foreign firms and countries lobby over here as a matter of routine. Israel is probably the most active lobbyist from a national standpoint. Do you really think that we volunteered all those weapons and dollars by going through diplomatic channels? Willcousa you just go to come up with a better program. Beside there is the matter of Free Speech involved. A constituent in Georgia would lobby his congressman on behalf of weapon being built in Georgia (defense pork) that Israel would like to buy if the people in Georgia keep making it. How does that fit in?
