Well, Shrub just reneged on his " Read my lips, No new CO2" pledge; like father like son, although I prefer papa's version. We can live with new taxes, but I'm not quite sure my kids can live with new CO2 ( a bit of an overstatement, but my not-even-on-the-radar-screen-grandkids may be in bad shape).
This is what happens when you get an administration from big oil hooking up with all their buddies. Who is making all the money in the power crunch ? Enron and another Houston based power company. Damn, they don't even try to be subtile about it any more. I've already got it in my head that, if they drill in the Alaskan preserves, I'm gonna go up and join whatever CD is taking place.If they try to drill here, ...90% of us, Buchaninites, Greens, and the masses in the middle, will take it to the streets. No drilling on our coast is the only thing everybody agrees on.
