H.F.: As a long time lurker and very occasional poster on SI, I want to wish you the best. I first read your posts when I happened upon the GOOFs thread about a year ago. I was sad to read about your unfortunate health problem. It took hutzpah (or chutzpah) to post your travails in the interim. Most of us have had some experience with the big C, either with friends , relatives, or personal encounters. If your openness on SI has raised one person's awareness (I'm sure it has) about facing a serious illness head on and not ignoring the need to address the symptoms (or the reality), then you have done the readers of SI a much larger service than even the most clairvoyant stock "picker" in the house. I hope things go well for you in the future. Sorry about the breaks in the sentence and paragraph structure...the SI Gods seem to have a mind of their own.
