yes on patterns, Buffalo Billy Greg
check the textbook Head&Shoulder bear pattern completed by QCOM
probably some good 3-step Elliott declines in major techs

the Naz decline is losing its power
support is holding repeatedly, despite scarey climate
I dont personally regard the Japan banking situation as trivial
it is serious
their day of reckoning is not exactly now, but the opening of the door to accountability has begun
meanwhile, Naz 2000 seems to have some extra psych power
not so surprising really, since three "0" zeros
also, check out the "rounded bottom" on Naz now becoming evident
we are entering a "flat stage" that is also out of TA manuals
flats preceding trend reversals, even if only to relieve extreme oversold/overbought conditions

I personally expect some surprising moderate economic news
and very soon
perhaps with inventory levels

a scathing indictment of Greenspan in March issue of "The American Spectator"
long interview of Larry Kudlow
he gets very specific in his critique
criticized AG for "rehabilitation of faulty economic models"
and for reviving the faulty notion that "growth begets inflation"

I maintain the Fed is horribly inept
with Friday's and this week's action, the 3-month TBill yield is probably even lower
so the Fed is hitting the brakes even harder now
more like riding the brakes even harder

diamond top, eh?
big question is whether Naz can move up gradually even as Dow and major NYSE stocks slide ???
quoi tu dis?
