That's interesting
So if the stock goes up you win on both counts, put and call, but if it goes down, you have to buy cpst at 25...and you are figuring your Aug calls are far enough away to make money and make up the difference in price?Wouldn't it be safer in this miserable market to sell puts and sell calls against them?

I've lost so much money I'd terrified and numb. I don't even have a portfolio right now, except for some Fidelity Capital and Income fund (which was supposed to provide income but is going down too!) and some RJR and MO which are both now going down. I have cash but don't know when I'll have the courage to put it to work, or if I will know that earnings are finally turning or if I will go into the old "gorilla" stocks I was in or different ones.
Anyone have a good book for me to read on calmness and fortitude? I tried a prayer book but it just made me angry that God has been so mean to all of us. An uplifting book that will help me act like an adult instead of the crybaby I'm being?
