The average consumer knows nothing of CDMA or 144Kbps.

While I agree that smart advertising can make i-mode look better than it is, I do believe that the average user does know about data transfer speeds. The U.S. has a rather sophisticated base off internet users. This will be especially true with the business community who is going to be targeted by CDMA carriers.

However, the best advertising for CMDA's higher speed is a slew of apps that will not work at slower speeds (i-mode).
