Modern Capitulation: Informed Investors make the difference, there will be no CLASSICAL PANIC CAPITULATION, the investor today, is not on the other end of a newspaper or telephone talking to their broker shouting BLINDLY: SELL SELL, instead they are at their computer, looking at graphs, looking at all news, looking at all analyst reports, they are better educated, and can see the chart, not imagine with great fear an imaginary cliff to the abyss. Usually they are smart enough to buy, resulting in a rally, and they do not always sell off, the specialists and market makers do that, but eventually there will be no buyers at all, and instead of a drop, the sold off rallys will have to move up HIGHER AND HIGHER TO ATTRACT CALM COOL SELLERS. If ANALysts and market makers and specialists and the CNBC guru crowd think there will be classical panic, they are wrong, at most it will be the STOIC BUYERS STRIKE and eventually SELLERS STRIKE we witnessed at the bottom, on the news that the Japanese Emperor had no clothes YESTERDAY. That was it, that is all there was, all there is, all there will be. These are different times. Only Short Sellers could panic, as the risk on the upside is unlimited. Todays Long investors do not panic, since the downside risk is limited. Glad to see you covered your shorts, with the Japanese Emperor being without any clothes, we have enough naked people running around already. I am still buying long PALM and NTAP. I expect another Rally, maybe later today, and tomorrow. March 20th will happen, and it will be good to the UPSIDE.
